Town Layout Reset while keeping progression#332
- Town Layout Reset
It would be amazing to have the option to reset only the town layout while keeping all progression intact.
By this I mean removing:
Buildings and fitouts
Decorations
Roads and paths
Fences and other placed objects
Production zones and industrial layouts
…while keeping things such as:
Town progression
Townies
Unlocked technology
Inventory and resources
Money
Quests
Many players build organically while discovering the game. By the late game, we understand the mechanics much better and often want to redesign the entire town from scratch. Currently, this requires moving everything piece by piece, which is very time-consuming.
A dedicated “Reset Town Layout” option would make rebuilding much more enjoyable without affecting progression.
- Much Further Zoom-Out in Build Mode
I’d also love to see a much larger zoom-out distance while building, similar to the overview available on the map.
Late-game towns become very large, and it’s difficult to plan districts, roads, logistics and production chains without being able to see enough of the town at once.
Having the same zoom level available in Build Mode as on the world map would make planning and city organization much more comfortable.
