Good Day PS Devs!
Introduce player-triggered town festivals that act as high-intensity, rewarding events. When activated, a massive influx of tourists arrives and stays in town for the entire 24-hour cycle, dramatically boosting the local economy. Players must complete specific management challenges during the event to earn exclusive, themed decoration tokens and functional rewards.
Because the game does not have a strict year-based calendar system compared to other games, players need high-tier, end-game activities to test their automation setups. A festival creates a deliberate, chaotic “rush hour” that pushes supply chains, cleanliness, and layout efficiency to their limits.
To ensure players don’t spam these events to infinitely generate cash, I suggest the following restrictions:
Players must open their phone app and “book” the festival a few days in advance. The game should restrict booking to a maximum of one festival per in-game week (or every 7 days).
Launching a festival shouldn’t be free. Once booked, it should require a heavy investment of EGO points or a large sum of refined town resources (e.g., tier-3 materials, bulk food items) to fund the event setup.
Example Event Concept: “The Grand Street Food Fiesta”
Sell a high volume of complex tier meals within 24 hours, manage the massive “Trash Avalanche” from tourists staying all day, and manually assist overwhelmed worker townies.
The Reward: Earn event-exclusive “Golden Tickets” to redeem for unique items, such as neon food signs, a hotdog player cosmetic, or a high-capacity “Industrial Delivery Cart.”
Everything is just a suggestion. I hope this feedback might spark creative ideas for the devs to make. It would make an incredible layer of strategy and excitement to town management
