Would be really convenient if you could assign couriers to deliver from assigned storage in one area / zone. For instance,

@ConcreteTunnel285 - just confirming that you’re not asking what’s in this request: https://go-go-town.nolt.io/34

A question!
How might you imagine setting up these delivery rules in-game ?

I’m thinking more along the lines of separate zones (or rather areas maybe?? not sure if I’m using the right descriptor here!), but not those adjacent to each other or sharing a border, no
For example, my factories are on opposite sides of the map to my mining and forrestry zones, therefore materials take time to arrive via courier when production storage gets low. To alleviate the pressure a bit, and to keep production rolling, I have additional storage next to each factory type (one item manufactured per factory, with 4 factories in total), with the necessary raw materials (glass & frames, cloth & cement etc) and also additional storage for the manufactured end product as well (extra storage to on-board end product at the factory (out)
Sometimes I find that (for whatever reason) I quite often run low on one particular material for some of my factories, say yum grease for instance, but still have plenty of metal beams (with room to spare for said yum grease that is running low). So instead of waiting for couriers to deliver small QTYs, I will fly in a storage bin full of the materials I need and stock up the additional storage alongside my factory
Most times couriers will then transfer stock from my storage area (next to the factory) into the on-board factory storage for production (in), unless they end up bringing it from whichever zone they are closest to when they are on their way (I’m assuming), or otherwise where this addditional storage is completely empty
I’m wondering then if it’s possible to have a courier collect (as they would normally) items from storage in one area / zone, and then deliver to another that either requires items for production (aka factories or shops) or as a display / nearby storage to a shop. For instance, I have popcorn storage outside my movie theatre as a bit of a decoration (which I assume couriers will also take from at various times, then leaving it empty for manual refill by my mayor)
Now I am no programmer or anything, but in regards to in-game rules, would it be possible to somehow have a ‘demand’ as such associated with some form of locked item storage in another area (end destination), as you would for a shop, so that when demand is high and stocks run low in that particular storage itself, a courier can essentially ‘refill’ that empty storage, which another courier can collect from as they would under normal circumstances? Or do couriers only collect items from storage in an actual zone, and not just storage anywhere on the map?
Attached is what my factory storage looks like to give you a better idea of what I am trying to explain (hopefully)

In terms of length of time for couriers to get across the map, have you installed subway stations at your factory and other places?

I have some semi close to all my zones and factory areas i guess, but maybe a restructure is required. thanks for the reminder!
